Genealogical Chart

This unusual Genealogical chart is over 170 years old.
I inherited it from my father, who in turn inherited it from his father.
The chart is printed on paper which is fixed on to a canvas backing.
It is in incredibly good condition for it's age.  I regret my photography does not do it justice. Entitled :-

A GENEALOGICAL CHART of the KINGS and QUEENS of ENGLAND from the REIGN of WILLIAM the CONQUERER to that of HIS MOST GRACIOUS MAJESTY WILLIAM THE FOURTH

Genealogical Chart

I found it quite difficult to photograph, because it is so large - 31.5 inches x 23 inches.

The faux leather binding has separated over the years, but is still in quite good condition.
There is a printed leaflet headed -

A Brief Explanation of the Genealogical Chart.

There is a neatly hand written addition - Mr Taylor, No.15 Trinity Terrace, Southwark.

The detail of the miniature etchings is meticulous as shown in the picture of William 1V below.

I feel this publication should really be in the hands of someone who can appreciate the historic value of this document, so as with most of my collectables, I will probably put it on the market some time in the future.
