METAMEC CLOCKS
Insurance Clock
SAVING CLOCK and TIMES SAVINGS CLOCK COMPANY patented 1954
The movement was made by WESTCLOX.
An extra mechanism was added so that the clock would only work when fed with florins.
Times Savings sold these clocks to an insurance company and they were used to help people save four shillings or so a week to pay their insurance premiums.
Extra coins could be deposited through the slot shown in the back.
A novel way of saving.
Model 792
Produced from 1954 to 1968
