BRASS PASTA MAKER
I bought this amazing machine at a charity shop sale several years ago.  It had a label - 'Screwing Machine' !!
No-one had any idea what it was. 

It was quite obvious when I found the four plates, shown in Photo 2.

I made some very good pasta but it took a little experimenting to get the right consistency.
I used to extrude the dough through the selected plate (spaghetti was favourite) straight into a pan of simmering salted water, to which I had added a dessertspoon of extra virgin olive oil.



Later I developed intolerance to wheat and sold this Pasta Maker on eBay.
It was beautifully made from high quality brass.
I believe it was made in Turkey in the early 1900's.
